What We've Done

• Given private musical instrument lessons to kids in the area

• Taught a couple dozen up-and-coming bands how to get their act together and take it on the road

• Given bands the opportunity for performance through our Rockcitals

• Taught bands to stand up and sing beautifully after so many people in their lives had told them they couldn't hit a single note correctly

• Given shy, introverted kids the power and self-esteem to get up in front of large crowds and express themselves

• Given outgoing, hyperactive kids a positive, safe, and fun way to use their extra energy

 

Simply stated, Dace's Rock 'n' More Music Academy has already given hundreds of kids -and a few dozen adults too- in the Maple Valley area musical experiences and opportunities that did not even exist anywhere just a few years ago. From the comments we receive, the students, their friends and family, and many others in the community seem to appreciate the work we've done so far. We hope you've taken the opportunity to be entertained by them as well. The end user of our product is you.

 

What We Do

• Provide regular schedule of private and group lessons (guitar, bass, drums, percussion, vocals, piano, and keyboard)

• Teach 9 to 14 groups every 3 months how to play as a band

• Put on shows after each quarter at an all-ages music venue to showcase what students have learned

 

For almost five years now, we have had consistent crowds of about 150-250 South King County residents at our Rockcitals.
