Dace’s Rock ‘n’ More Music Academy is searching for two guitar teachers, one vocal teacher, and one piano teacher to help us meet demand beginning this September. If you would like to teach music as all or part of your career, this may be the job for you. We will start you at $25 to $35 per hour (DOE) with 3 weeks of paid vacation in your first year and go from there. Professional, well-qualified, punctual employees with good attitudes, good critical thinking skills, and the ability to transcribe custom music for their students, can earn a good living at Rock ‘n’ More while providing an in-demand and highly appreciated service to the local community.

Dace’s Rock ‘n’ More Music Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2005, whose mission it is to provide positive, uplifting, and inclusive educational experience for all members of the community through private, group, and applied music lessons. We are a small business but have a lot of experience, a long history, and are deeply entrenched in the local community. We participate in many local events at schools, parks, community centers, and are Entertainment Directors for both the Maple Valley Days festival and The Maple Valley Farmer’s Market. We provide the community with over 30 public performances per year. A nice side-effect of these community services is that they also act as a way to get the word out about us.

Our 501(c)(3) status allows us to raise money for people who can’t afford to take lessons, to be part of many community events throughout the year, and to make sure that the LGBTQ community has a safe space at Rock ‘n’ More.

 

About You:
 

• You have some experience teaching.

• You have the ability to create customized musical transcriptions for students depending on their age and level of proficiency.

• You are on time and professional.

• You are fun to work with and around.
