Lauryn “Lorna” Frederickson started taking drum lessons at Rock ‘n’ More in 2016 and played in several quarters of Rockology, including the iconic band “Synergy.”

Lauryn started working at the front desk of Rock ‘n’ More her senior year of highschool. Now, she works hybrid managing item procurement for the annual Rockologicon Fundraiser while also assisting with social media, graphics, and website duties for the school. Lauryn also helps with administrative duties for the development of the new Downtown Cultural & Arts District in Maple Valley.

Lauryn attends Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. She is studying Rhetoric & Media Studies, Entrepreneurial Leadership & Innovation, and plays drums (jazz combos, percussion ensemble) for the music program. She also plays for the women’s basketball team. Lauryn has worked for Blue Butler Studios in Portland and also spent the summer of 2026 working in West Hollywood for Velvet Hammer Music & Management Group.

“Lorna” is passionate about playing sports, playing drums, drinking tea, hiking, traveling, line dancing, going to concerts, fashion, and most importantly, making music education accessible to all!
