Downtown Cultural and Arts District is a new non-profit organization founded as a joint venture of the founders of the non-profit organizations Maple Valley Creative Arts Council and Dace’s Rock ‘n’ More Music Academy.

 

It is the culmination of more than 20 years of dreams, discussions, cooperation, and planning between the two organizations who believe that now is the time to build a lasting and much deserved monument to and for the local artistic community that for so long has punched far above its weight in artistic output.

Downtown Cultural and Arts District believes that now is the time to build a working monument to the legacy and future of our world-class local artistic community.

Dace's Rock 'n' More Music Academy is the current fiscal sponsor of Downtown Cultural & Arts. DCAD is currently engaging in community dialogues, market research, and developing fundraising goals in order to make this dream a reality.
